A Family Dedicated to Preserving History

The Mann Family Story

Kerry and Jen Mann with the Dodge House and Montello Theater

Kerry and Jen Mann and their four daughters have run the Montello Movie Theater since 2022. This building is FULL of history. The deed dates back to 1859, before Lincoln was president.

The movie theater was initially called the Dodge Opera House. Frank Dodge ran the opera house and built the magnificent Dodge House next door in 1894.

Over 130 years later, after dozens of different owners of both the Dodge House and the Montello Theater, Kerry and Jen and their four girls purchased the Dodge House after admiring the beautiful brick building and its history for 4 years as they ran the theater next door.

For the first time since Frank Dodge over 100 years ago, the same owner has the Dodge House and the Former Dodge Opera House (Montello Theater)!

The Mann family is dedicated to preserving this incredible history. The Dodge House is like stepping back in time!
